Red carpet ready in Cannes

Last minute preparations - ahead of one of the world's most glamourous events.

The 66th Cannes Film Festival is about to kick off.

Hundreds of films will be shown here and fans are already on the look out for stars.

Hollywood heavyweight Leonardo DiCaprio is just one of the big names expected on the riviera.

While he's getting ready for the evening's glitzy opening gala - journalists and moviemakers are queuing at the registration desk.

Twenty films are in competition this year, each hoping to win the coveted Palme d'Or.

With everything pretty much in place, it's just the weather that could do with changing!
