Red Bull Wake Open 2013 - Highlights

 The Red Bull Wake Open has wrapped up for 2013 – throw it in the books! With regard to the event as a whole, this year went above and beyond the expectations of everyone from the riders to the fans packing the bay front. A special thanks to all the athletes for putting on an amazing performance, and a giant congratulations to Aaron Rathy on taking the overall win! "To win this thing with both Raph [Derome] and JD [Webb] up here on the podium with me is so cool," said the excited but humble Rathy. Rathy went on to comment about Derome's ability as "arguably the best wakeboarder in the world" but wrapped up with a statement to sum up his feelings overall, "Today was my day, and I'm pumped!"
