Description
Finance Secretary Ralph Recto is optimistic that the country will achieve a 6 percent growth in the second quarter of the year, driven by consumer spending.
Recto said the government is ready to provide assistance to the 25,000 workers who will be displaced by the ban on POGOs announced by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in his third State of the Nation Address on Monday.
Also, Recto said the government will not used the excess funds of government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC) for the Maharlika Investment Fund.
