Record-Setting Rusher: Breida Prepares for Encore Performance in 2015

Sun Belt RISE Program member Cesar Perez, a senior at Georgia Southern University, talked to junior Matt Breida of the Eagles football program. The record-setting running back leads the Eagles through spring practice as he prepares for an encore performance after he shattered school and Sun Belt records in the 2014 season.

Cesar Perez is a senior majoring in multimedia with an information emphasis at Georgia Southern University. His minor is music performance.

The Sun Belt Conference RISE Program is a partnership between the Sun Belt Conference and its 13 member institutions that gives one student on each campus the unique opportunity to act as a standalone digital media correspondent for the conference office. Each student aspires to have a career in digital media and has worked closely with Sun Belt Conference staff in developing each of their stories to tell the stories of student-athletes in a unique, intriguing and most importantly honest way.
