Rebels dismiss calls for peace talks

On the bomb ravaged streets of Aleppo rebel forces say they will decide the future of the conflict in Syria.
Peace envoy Lakdar Brahimi said that Syria will face hell if no deal is struck to end 21 months of bloodshed.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) MOHAMED ATTON, FSA COMMANDER, SAYING:
"What we heard from Lakhdar Brahimi has nothing to do with us. Those who negotiate and speak to him don't represent us. We're the ones on the ground fighting so we have the final decision."
They pray for a better future.
And they take up positions where they can.
Short of arms, the are using the governments own weapons against Bashar al-Assad's forces.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) FREE SYRIAN ARMY ROCKET MAKER, SAYING:
"When Assad's airplanes drop bombs, we take them and remake them into a regular rocket and then we fire it at the regime. Because we are short on ammunition and no one supporting us, we use their rockets against themselves."

A man says his relatives are all in the hsopital -- he has nothing left and no place to go.
People try to find what they have lost.
Some 45,000 people have died in a war that began as a popular uprising in March 2011. There there are still no signs of peace.
