Where is
that strangling nymph
that so many men
write odes to and lose themselves for?
What is beauty?
The painting of light,
how it is reflected, held,
bestowed on the world!
Whatever beauty is,
it is even more beautiful
in the dark,
unseen,
and pressed against me.
