Rebecca Jordan "Eve"

Rebecca Jordan grew up in Ohio studying classical piano and teaching herself guitar at a young age. Inspired by musical artists such as The Cure, Aretha Franklin, Tom Petty, and Joao Gilberto, she has created a balance between classic and contemporary music, making her songs strong and noteworthy. Since moving to New York City, Rebecca gained the 2010 Abe Olman Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, was a 2010 NPR Mountain Stage NewSong finalist, and received a 2011 Independent Music Award nomination for her self-released EP titled Souvenir. Jordan has written for well-known artists such as Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, and also co-wrote five songs for Alice Smith’s upcoming EP, executive produced by Citizen Cope.
