I used some old pressure treated 4x4s that my Dad had piled up in his backyard. So this installation cost me $3.99 for the bag of leveling sand.

This is a nice way to install if your spot is out of level by a few inches. You can always lift your golf mat and re-level if you delevop a low spot.
