READING THE FAITH

Two boys read the Koran inside the Golden Mosque in Quiapo, Manila, on March 31, 2022, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. It is observed during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. For this year, Ramadan will start on the evening of April 2 and will last until May 2. During this period, Muslims observe fasting from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. before doing prayers until 8 p.m.
