Why do I wake up every morning to start a new day,
When all I see is April showers run into May,
And the same fake faces pass by with a fake smile,
Saying they like the things you do and your style,
Plus other things they think you want to hear,
But starts talking behind your back as soon as you clear.

Why do I wake up every morning to start a new day,
When all I see are homeless people with nowhere to stay,
And kids younger then me that stay smoked out,
Saying they don't care, they know what life's all about,
Plus no one cares about anything anymore,
But it's hard to keep your brain rich when everything's poor.

Why do I wake up every morning to start a new day,
When all my body wants to do is lay,
And my eyes want to stay shut,
Saying to myself that they can't stay shut,
Plus no matter what I do I'ma have demons on my back,
But that won't be the worst part of the stack.

Why do I wake up every morning to start a new day?
It's simple, to see the girl that i love in every way.
