[RBSP] Launch Alternative Angles in HD
Description
Alternative Launch Angles from cameras around the Cape as NASA's RBSP Spacecraft's lifted off today on an Atlas V 401 from Cape Canaveral in Florida. Lift off occurred at 08:05 UTC on the 30th August 2012.
The probes will study dynamic regions of space known as the Van Allen Radiation Belts that surround Earth. Understanding the radiation belt environment and its variability has important practical applications in the areas of spacecraft operations, spacecraft system design, mission planning and astronaut safety.
