Spring has sprung upon us
Like it does each year
So many smiling faces
Because it's finally here

The days of winter behind us
Warm days lay ahead
Winter coats and warm pants
Can now all be shed

Spring showers will surely fall
Just like the wind will blow
The flowers all around us
Will finally start to grow

Watered from the showers
Sent from up above
Beautiful smells and colors
Are what spring is made of
