Where’s the smile
That you use to wear
I look at you
I don’t see it there
Where has it gone
Can you please
Put it back on

Where’s the girl
That I knew
The one who made
Life seem brand new
But I don’t see what
I use to see in you

There’s the girl
All she does is cry
She's the only one
Who knows why

She says in her room
The door always closed
Again, the reason why
She 's the one who knows

She use to be so happy
Always full of life
But all that changed
When she became his wife

She’s always in pain
Her eyes always black
I just want to see
Her, get her life back

Why does she take it
She should just leave
No one deserves
The treatment she receives

I’m so afraid for her
I tell her she must leave
I tell her if she doesn't
Soon our family will greive
