I have been travelling for centuries
Through villages and meadows, cities and forests
Ups and downs....pits and pinnacales...crests and troughs...
Days and nights, in the Sun and in the Moon
Under starry sky, into the deepest ocean...
Of heartless minds, mouthful of words, mostly but lies.

One sunny morning,
She came across my way
Took my hands into Her
Looking straight into my eyes She asked with a deep sigh
'What is Life? '
And She didn't wait for the answer.
Passed into the shadowy forest beside my path.

I searched and searched....for thousands of years
For Her? or For Life? ....know not for certain.
Yesterday, Again She appeared
Now I boldly hold Her hands with utmost care...
In low voice, She said
'Amidst vastness of space and immensity of Time,
Are we not Fortunate?
As we share few moments of Joy and Woe,
A sweet smile or little tears with Dreams in eyes
A Reason for Living?
Through Agony and Ecstasy
Together! Tohether! Together! '
