Rates of blindness in Indigneous communities slashed by community-led programs

For decades, trachoma, an eye disease eliminated everywhere else in the developed world was stealing the sight of Indigenous people in remote Australia. But infection rates have plummeted thanks to a new approach by community leaders and health services.
