Rashid hints improved 'EC' in the making
Description
The May 9 polls could be the last general election in Malaysia to use the first past the post (FPTP) system, and the last to be conducted by the Election Commission as we know it today.
Electoral Reform Committee (ERC) chairperson Abdul Rashid Ab Rahman said proposed reforms include coming up with a legal framework to establish an "electoral management body" that may replace the EC.
