777 Views • Nov 27, 2013
Description
The tiny “Bay Psalm Book” dates back to 1640. It was published in Cambridge by the Puritan leaders of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, just 20 years after the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth.
The copy was one of two owned by Boston’s Old South Church and was put up for sale to help with much needed building work.
