Ranveer Singh - Biography

Ranveer Singh, born on 6th July 1985 at Mumbai is an Indian actor.

Ranveer Singh was not inclined to join Hindi films when he started his career as a creative writer and worked for advertising companies like O&M and JWT.

Later he worked as an assistant director in films and then realized that he wanted to pursue a career in acting.

Ranveer Singh was discovery of Yash Raj Films and made his debut in Band Baaja Baarat in the year 2010, and the film was a smashing hit and Ranveer Singh became a star. He won the Filmfare Best Debut Male Award.

His next film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl was also a big hit.

Ranveer Singh became a household name overnight and was the heart throb of many young girls. He has also appeared in many Award functions and has lightened the atmosphere with his witty antics.

Ranveer Singh surely shows great promise of scaling the ladder of success and being a part of the elite league of Bollywood.
