Wind, you came in
Many moods
Many colors

To pluck me away
..
….
…….

When I was a tender leaf

But I was so supple
So lissome
I managed to,
dance around
Flutter around
And
Cling on dearly.

Again you came
like a twister.
I was strong enough,
Stubborn enough,
To stay put.

Persistent you
Kept coming at me
Until you plucked
Yellow, feeble me
Off the dear tree
I clung on to,

WHY but WHY?

Did you love me?

Or

Did you hate me?

What is that smile for?

That smile of
Satisfying accomplishment?
