Randy Johnson - New Coke

(Only the last line of this poem is fictional.)

Back in the eighties Coca-Cola did something so ridiculous that it had to be a joke.
I'm talking about when they made the new Coke.
I nearly puked when I tasted it, it tasted worse than diet coke.
People didn't buy it and Coca-Cola nearly went broke.
They made the new Coke taste better but people still didn't want to drink it anymore.
They finally started back using the original formula like they did before.
Every so often, a really bad idea comes.
As we saw on the Simpsons, the inventor of the new Coke was fired and became a bum.
