Randy Johnson - Lorne Greene

(Dedicated to Lorne Greene who died of pneumonia on September 11,1987)

He had my mother's maiden name.
Since his death in 1987, television hasn't been the same.
He was born in Canada in 1915.
The man I'm talking about is none other than Lorne Greene.

He deserved the fame he worked so hard to earn.
He starred on a science fiction show and on a western.
When he died, it was very bad.
A nation missed him and became extremely sad.

Greene died from pneumonia after he had heart surgery.
He worked hard so we could have such great shows on TV.
He starred in Alpo commercials and I wish he was stll alive.
What would he be doing today if he would've survived?
