if you could just lend me back
the memories which i shared with you,
the time when you were around
and you made my fantasies come true.
i dont want anything again from you,
but just those expressions to be expressed,
when you smiled over at my heart,
and left it with nothing else.
dreams do never get fulfilled.
its just reality which becomes a dream.
the sunshine never gives up,
till it finally hunts down a beam.
so long the past was banished
and away it carried your thought,
the one which makes me go wild at night
the one which disturbs me alot.
you walked away with a strut,
never looking back at me.
it occours to me as it always do
did you ever think of me?
now i ask you as i asked before
to return me what is mine.
the shadow of that souvenir love
which we shared once upon a time........
