If you knew how you were going to die
what would you change
nothing, you say?
Because you would die anyways?
Well maybe something
Maybe tell that girl
You really liked her
maybe explain to her
why you are the way you are
maybe tell her your not the one for her
but you and her have this moment
a moment that should
until time says its time

Maybe tell her you love her
You are not scared to fall in love with her
and you are not scared of her love
maybe tell her you wrote about her
maybe help her understand you went slow
because you were scared for her feelings
as well as your, well maybe not yours
maybe tell her your dont need her
or anyone in your life
to depend on
or cry on
but whenever you wanted to talk
you wanted to talk to her


Maybe tell her she was right
naw that would be going to far
maybe let her know you made a connection
with someone you never made before
and you would understand
if they wasnt patient enough
to deal with a rookie
A rookie that would rather write
than call at midnite and leave a message
because that is not his style

Maybe tell her you worked so hard
so hard to get her
that you didnt realize
you got her
maybe you lost her again
maybe she found another
maybe you scared she might be
the one, that got away
maybe when she hears this
she would blush
dont blink, nevermind you missed it
