Rally Acropolis 2007 ss10

Luka presents report day2 - very strong stage ss10 49km!! over at stage - Big Happy Out of Mikko Hirvonen. Many dramatic moments. Mikko Hirvonen and Chris Atkinson lost a lot of time. The Finn had a slight went off and Chris Atkinson finish the stage with damaged front right wheel.This was BP Ultimate Acropolis Rally of Greece of the WRC 2007.
HIRVONEN Mikko:
"I went off at the 5th km of the stage. It was a really fast spot. After that it was very difficult to drive. I couldn’t see anything as the windscreen was broken. I don’t believe that the team has a spare windscreen in the remote service.”
ATKINSON Chris:
“I have no idea of what happened. We had a flat tire 10 km. before the end of the stage and the mousse didn’t work and this damaged the wheel. The stage was slippery due to the car.” He finished the stage with the front right wheel almost off.
LOEB Sebastien:
“It was difficult. I had a puncture near the end of stage. I think Marcus and Petter will have cleaner road and will set better times.”
CZ:
M. Hirvonen: "Po pěti kilometrech jsem byl mimo trať. Pak bylo hodně těžké soustředit se na jízdu. Skoro nic jsem neviděl kvůli rozbitému čelnímu sklu. Pochybuji, že tým bude mít v odloučeném servisu k dispozici náhradní."
Chris Atkinson: "Nevím co se stalo. Deset kilometrů před cílem jsme měli prázdné kolo a mousse nezafungovala, takže je kolo poničené. Na trati to dost klouzalo."
Sébastien Loeb (Citroën C4 WRC): Francouz se v průběžné klasifikaci posunul na 3. pozici, na druhého P. Solberga se Subaru navíc ztrácí pouhých 0,3 sekundy. "Bylo to těžké. Před koncem zkoušky jsem dostal defekt. Myslím, že Marcus a Petter budou mít čistší trať a lepší časy."
Jan Kopecký (Škoda Fabia WRC) na Rakušana ztratil 32,7 sekundy. "Byla to velmi horká a dlouhá zkouška. V polovině jsme měli problémy s brzdovým pedálem a ztratili jsme nějaký čas, ale ne moc."
