The BJP's 'blow-hot-blow-cold' approach towards Mamata Banerjee has set political speculation abuzz in Bengal.

BJP president Rajnath Singh on Friday again dangled the promise of "the largest financial package ever" for Bengal and sent a direct message to the Trinamool Congress chief: "Why fight us? Fight Congress." Singh's overture to the West Bengal CM comes barely five days after BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi launched a fierce attack against her over the Saradha scam and taunted the sale of her paintings at hefty prices.
