Rajnath Singh tweets: Time for change, time for BJP

For the Bharatiya Janata Party already battling dissent, a tweet by party president Rajnath Singh has further fueled confusion. Just minutes after Rajnath Singh tweeted saying it's time for BJP, he hastily reverted to 'time for Modi'.

While earlier Rajnath Singh tweeted, "Time for change, time for BJP. Bahut Hui Mehngai Ki Maar, Abki Baar BJP Sarkar," he later tweeted the official election tagline, "Ab ki baar Modi sarkaar." This tagline drafted after much discussion was intended to focus the entire campaign on the party's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
