That unheard voice triggering a throb of agitation deep within my nerves,
Puts me in unseen chains that resist every attempt to free myself
Knowing it’s a wrong time to shut my eyes makes no difference to urge
To be alone in my own invisible nest letting myself sink to unknown depths

Pain peeps into my cells, tiring me with a drug to sleep
And I resist for I have to be awake to receive someone
Who wont come often my way and wait beside if I’m asleep
But keep on flying leaving a fragrance behind to prove nothing
