rajat panda - The Verdict

The saint went to see the war
And heard the cries of men afar,
He found flesh and blood here and there
The smell of sulphur in the air.

Tears rolled down from his eyes
When he saw the men eaten by flies.
With blood in his eyes and despair,
He hurried towards the king's chair.

Taken aback by the king's celebration
He asked the reason for his jubiliation.
Said the king ' Now i am the victor,
The ruler of a new world order'.

Laughed the man at the king's words
And laughed the nature, trees and birds.
'You are dead O king of kings,
How foolishly you've cut your wings.

You have butchered your own brothers
And wounded the womb of many mothers.
Thou shalt be remembered as a murderer,
As evil personified, a ruthless butcher'.
