Rajasthani folk dance

Kalbelia or Kabeliya is one of the most sensuous dance forms of Rajasthan, performed by a tribe of the same name. They are famous for their dance which is an integral part of their culture. Women in the tribe participate in this activity to celebrate joyful occasions.

The theme of the Mela this year is "BSF Mela-a Smile". Attractions of the event include medical camps, quiz programmes, painting competition, magic and puppet show.

The Border Security Force is hosting a three-day mela at Mela Ground opposite Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium Metro Station to highlight the BSF's efforts in conducting medical camps, especially surgeries of people suffering from cleft lip and palate. The "BSF Mela-2013" will display saris, leather goods and handicrafts.
