Rajasthan has many popular (now very touristy!) and colourful vibrant dance forms. Rajasthani people wear colourful (even perhaps garrish) and bright dresses matched with equally bright ornaments. Almost all folk forms are either linked to a particular region, or a particular festival. It is said that the Gypsies and Romani people of Europe originated in Rajasthan.
