The Gulmohar Tree

Every year from April to June
The gulmohar tree is in full bloom.
This majestic site is so very dear,
I wait for this time every year.
Its slender green leaves of verdant green,
Enhances the beauty of the scene.
The bright red petals of this Peacock Flower
Sets the tree all on fire!
Once I saw a grand vista of these
Lining the road of an embassy.
Such a glorious, flamboyant site,
Made me hold my breath a while.
So if you ever get a chance to see
You will never regret the gulmohar tree.
