RAJ NANDY - The Double Door

Life is like the double door,
Through one you walk IN
And through the other you GO!
Maintaining a balance in this continuous
flow ;
Or else the earth would be too crowded
for us to stand,
With no elbow room even to shake hands!

Like a river flowing in a continuous stream,
You hardly notice the changes within!
Yet you can never step into the same
water twice,
Remember the Greek Heraclitu’s advice!
Nature forgets an individual face,
It’s more concerned with continuance of
the human race!
