SILENTLY YOURS!
You never did speak nor utter a single word,
But I could see the fondness reflected in your
sweet glance,
Whenever you had looked into my blue eyes!
And with your silence, - I must confess and
say,
That you have silently taken away,
My most precious thing which I had kept, -
All saved up till this very day!
Now my love and tender feelings have been
gently purloined away!
And should you really wish to know,
My reciprocated love for you does show, -
In my image reflected in your eyes!
For our eyes always mirror true love, -
Which lies hidden within our tender hearts!
