** RESTORING WORDS!
I am tired of all those hollow words, -
Those meaningless, useless and senseless
words!
Words of false promises being made, -
By greedy vote-seeking politicians, -
as on date!
Words that stagnate in our hearts and
minds,
Words that separate and divide!
Words that shun love, - for hate!
What would be our destiny and fate? !
Soon men will speak in different tongues,
Like men of Babble, as confusion runs,
As words get mummified inside men’s heart,
Forming separate islands - to isolate!
While many unuttered words lie congealed,
Inside a poet’s heart they lie unseen!
Can he restore their essence and magic once
more,
Using words as communion as they flow,
Uniting all the world and its distant shores? !
Let him banish all confusion of our minds
and hearts,
Restoring the magic of meaningful words;
And give those words its true merit,
Making us speak a single language of the
spirit!
