Rain - Throwback (2007)

http://audioimagery.net Rain is off of the HUSH album of 2007. I am listening to this album and realizing how good this was. I remember spending an entire month off of work just in my room mixing these songs. Trying to get every detail, every instrument, every background vocal to cut through. We worked with a slew of musicians and created something that I am truly proud of. Thanks to LP, Cos, Madison, Fort, ANTI, Chrisy and Blak & Tann and a slew of other people for this song and for the rest of the album. It is truly a blessing. Anyway as far as this song goes this was originally a "Blak and Tann" song. The group is no longer together but they were a R&B powerhouse in VA. Audio Imagery fell in love with their song entitled "Rain". The original was classically R&B sounding and was a solid jam. We did our version of that song over the original beat in 2006 but the music just didn't' seem to fit the vibe of the HUSH album. So we do what we love to do and added our own music to it the vocals so that it meshed with our vision. It almost didn't make the album.
