Rain lets up, heat returns _ 053018

Good morning. Those of us in the capital are waking up to wet roads due to evening showers but the sun will return.

Central regions received some unexpected showers in the evening which lingered into the night, most of the rain clouds in the upper regions have moved out but today southern regions will receive passing showers of 5 to 20 millimeters.

Busan and Gyeongsang-do regions will have high levels of fine dust all day while the capital area will see fine dust blowing in from the evening.

Checking on today's temperatures... right now the entire nation is waking up to normal to good air, Seoul had a low of 16 degrees, Daegu and Busan at 19 degrees.

Daily highs will be similar to slightly cooler than Tuesday topping out at 25 degrees in Seoul, Daegu and Gwangju at 27 degrees, Gyeongju and Chuncheon will see the mercury hit 28 degrees this afternoon.
