Rail Safety 2009

Rail Safety 2009 was a great success bringing together rail safety perspective from various industries. Highlights include John Clegg, CEO of NOPSA, speaking on the safety case approach from the offshore petroleum perspective, and a US perspective on rail safety management by Jeff Moller, Executive Director of AAR. We also had Professor Jean Cross of the University of NSW speaking on risk management maturity. The panel discussion strived to answer the question of whether harmonisation of safety across the industry is achievable. Delegates got to network and exchange opinions with peers during the 2-day conference.
