Rafique Farooqi - SELF EXILE

I looked last time,
the barren walls of,
my inner city,
a torn dirty banner,
hanging on, with window,
i lived there with my loneliness.
a self exile, but painfully,
i refrained to adore,
and from existence.
walking bare hand again,
on road of life,
that ends on endless path.
