Rachel Zoe: NYFW Spring 2012

The celeb stylist-turned-designer’s collection is glamorous but also has that relaxed, cool '70s feel.

So what was her inspiration? “Brigitte Bardot, South of France, late ‘60s early ‘70s..just being her cool, glamorous self” she said. The presentation was held in a loft space in NYC, supporters included Rachel’s BFF, Model/Actress Molly Sims, E! star, Giuliana Rancic and of course Zoe’s hubby Rodger with their baby Skyler!

We caught up with E! star, Giuliana Rancic who said, “I love her stuff, I have always loved her taste…very fun and sophisticated but also has edge.” Zoe turned out animal print maxis, ruffled minis, structured blazers, tapered pantsuits and jumpsuits in bright colors like royal blue.

The collection also features floor-sweeping gowns and some ultra chic one-shoulder dresses. Also a major player ..the shoes!! “Accessories just needed to be part of the collection, they need to be really strong” Zoe said.
