Description

Death, a concept grasped by few
But later realized by the victims of such misfortunes.
The rush of adrenaline that consumes one’s body
Caused by bodily language of the teller;
A look, a glance, a twitch of the mouth
Such signs are rarely noticed by the
Unexpecting eye.
An attachment is made, both mental and
emotional
That binds you to another person
A tie that, once broken by the sickle of death,
Can never be bound back together.
The peace will eventually come with time,
Yet ten years have passed
And I am as restless as ever.
Sympathy cannot be found without experience
Or imagination beyond my capacity.
A shoulder occasionally comes, causing the
Tears to come out of hiding,
But so oftentimes
I am alone.
