Description

Your wings swoop and sway as you delicately join me on the ground.
Your skin is the shade of night at it’s darkest,
Your eyes the colour of the blood you crave.
You float through the sky with the grace of a bird,
But you bite to kill, as deadly as a shark.
I understand that you need to feed,
To drink the life of others.
But what I don’t understand is why me?
Why did you choose me to keep you alive when I am sure there are many others far more delicious?
So you land by my side and your wings relax,
As this next part is still so strange to me.
You transform into your human face, your body twisting round and round.
Your bones making an awful clicking sound.
The pain you go through every time must be unbearable.
I can only imagine.
And now you stand in front of me, so tall and overwhelming.
Ready to bite and take my life,
If only to keep your own.
I know that it is pointless to resist.
That you would easily win in a fight.
All I can do is lower my collar,
So go ahead, and bite.
