Bab Chellah, une porte fortifiée qui reflète l'art mérinide à son apogée. Sa construction date du XIVe siècle: le sultan mérinide Aboul Hassan fit bâtir un mur d'enceinte, avec cette porte monumentale, pour protéger les tombes royales.
