A little hard to get never hurt anybody. I don't see anything wrong with it, but only do it for fun and keep your own options open. If you can actually be hard to get, in that you keep yourself busy and do interesting things throughout the day, it might actually work because you might catch the attention of your crush without knowing, but don't become obsessed with the idea of having every conversation sound hard to get or getting them to notice you etc. Live your life and, if it comes to fruition, then great, but keep it light and playful, that's what flirting should be all about.
