1 whole L sz garlic, 1 ½ inch ginger peeled, 1 L tomato, 2 green chillies very hot/ md hot 3-4, ¾ ts garam masala (home-made), 1ts salt, ½ ts turmeric powder, 1ts full cumin seeds, ½ ts/ 1ts crushed chillies, ½ cup+ cooking oil, 1 whole fresh chicken 1 ½ kg cut into pieces preferably hormone free and preferably free range as well from the butcher. if you buy chicken portions like all thighs, drumsticks or all chicken breasts then this dish won't taste nice and will have hamak (a kind of smell related to food).
