New beekeepers if you are interested in making some of your own Queens these little to frame nuc boxes are perfect, it's so simple you always have Queens available when you need them, or you can also sell these Queens. in this video I explain how to stock The Mating nuc, and then what to do after the Virgin Queen hatches. After she hatches she will mature Inside the Box, she will fly out in a few days, mate, return to box, and start laying eggs. This is when you will know that she is ready to do whatever you need her for, whether it's to put her in a larger hive, or sell her, now that you have eggs inside this mini nuc you can let them produce another queen.
