ever since i was three
i’ve always wanted to be free
NO! NO! NO!
mom used to say
you can’t GO!
there’s no way

you can’t eat that popsicle
you can’t ride that bicycle
you can’t play with that kid
he’s a friend you must rid

how i’ve hated those words
how i wanted to be free as a bird
now that i m isolated
how i was devostated

when mom never return home one day

i waited by the door
on the stone cold floor
cring of the mistakes
that i never meant to make

how i’ miss those words of love
that mom used to say
those words of love
that i would pay
to hear again
