In this Qing Wen, we're going to learn different ways to make comparisons using the character 比 bi3. The sentence structure can be a little confusing at times, but since the adjectives don't change so much, once you've learnt it, you can start making some really interesting and complex sentences.

Lesson Notes:

飞机快 (fēijī kuài) - A plane is quick.
飞机比火车快 (fēijī bǐ huǒchē kuài) - A plane is quicker than a train.
今天很热 (jīntiān hěn rè) - It's hot today.
今天比昨天热 (jīntiān bǐ zuótiān rè) - Today is hotter than yesterday.
便宜 (piányi) - Cheap
贵 (guì) - Expensive
X跟Y比起来 (X gēn bǐqǐlai) - X compared to Y
跟Y比起来，X... (gēn bǐqǐlai, X diǎn diǎn diǎn) - Compared to Y, X....
