Qatar mall fire kills 19 people
Description
At least 19 people, including 13 children, were killed in a fire that ripped through an upscale shopping mall in Qatar.
Thick black smoke could be seen billowing from the Villagio mall.
The fire is believed to have started in the nursery and an official at the interior ministry says an investigation is underway.
Villagio, located in Doha's west end is a popular hangout for many expatriates living in Qatar. According to the government, all of the dead were foreign nationals.
