Python caught at Villamor Airbase

Philippine Air Force and Presidential Security Command personnel caught a python near the entrance of the Maharlika Lounge in Villamor Airbase a few hours before President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. left for his state visit to India on Monday, August 4.

A PAF personnel was brought to the hospital after being bitten on the hand.

PAF chief Lt. General Arthur Cordura said the snake “may have migrated from one area to another” through the interconnected drainage system after the recent floods.
