Pygmy elephant herd under-watch

Sabah wildlife rangers and police personnel in Telupid are monitoring the activities of a herd of elephants causing havoc in the district.
On March 1st, a lone elephant entered the premises of SMK Telupid in search for food and the day before the herd entered the compund of the Beluran police station.
Wildlife Rescue Unit veterinarian, Dr Diana Ramirez said rounding up the herd is an uphill task.
